This program began on the 29th of June 2022, with just four volunteers using the kitchen at the Parish of Saints Constantine and Helen in South Yarra, Melbourne cooking nutritious hot meals and sandwiches.

On that day, 25 meals were cooked and distributed to the homeless in nearby streets.

Today, fourteen Greek Orthodox parishes participate in this program twice a week, distributing 275 hot meals and 450 sandwiches each week to family service centres, crisis centres, and homeless individuals.

To date, we have successfully distributed over 107,000 meals.
